Users accessing their Skytap-hosted Linux VMs using browser-based HTML5 SRA may see occurrences of unintended repeated characters when typing.
The quiiiiiick brown fox jumps ovvvvver the lazy dog.
This issue occurs when the impacted VM has a setting enabled to allow key repetition and any delay occurs between a VM seeing a key-press event and a key-release event. These delays can be intentional (such as a user holding a key down), or unintentional (such as variance in latency or network issues between the user and the VM).
The issue can be resolved by disabling key-repetition in the VM's keyboard settings.
