Unable to load or mount an ISO to a Power VM in Kyndryl Cloud Uplift

The (Load ISO) button is missing on the Kyndryl Cloud Uplift Environment Details page, and there doesn't appear to be a way to load or mount an ISO to a Power VM.

Cause:

Loading or mounting an ISO to a Power VM using the (Load ISO) button is not currently supported in Kyndryl Cloud Uplift.

Solution:

To use ISOs with IBM i VMs in Kyndryl Cloud Uplift, IBM recommends using a NIS server and mounting your ISO images over the network. See Importing IBM i workloads into Kyndryl Cloud Uplift using NIS for more information.

To use ISOs with AIX VMs in Kyndryl Cloud Uplift, IBM recommends using a NIM server and mounting your ISO images over the network. See Creating an AIX VM in Kyndryl Cloud Uplift from a mksysb image for more information.
