We are aware of this issue, but as this is a Google issue we're not able to fix it. We can offer a work-around, though.
It appears Google geo-location identifies some IP addresses associated with some of our regions as originating from Japan and directs traffic to the top-level domain for Japan.
You can work around this by changing your Google settings from any browser:
-
Open Google's preferences page by visiting https://google.com/preferences
-
While Search results is selected in the left pane, scroll down to the Region Settings in the right pane and select the region corresponding to the Google domain you want to use.
-
Click Languages in the left pane and select the language you prefer Google to use.
-
Click the Save button to save these settings.
